On a daily basis, dozens of “Notnim BeAhavah” volunteers visit the homes of hundreds of elderly, among them are many Holocaust survivors. The volunteers come with a hot, diverse meal thatincludes meat.
During their visit, the volunteers sit with the elderly, check up on them, take care of them and listen to stories of their experiences.
It will not be an overstatement to say that our volunteers know these elderly better than their closest family members. They listen to the elderly share their most confidential personal and family experiences. That’s what happens when you become one family.
In addition, the volunteers assist the elderly with their grocery shopping, bill payment, bank errands, minor home repairs and any other needed errands.
They do this every day throughout the year and all with love.
