Many families eagerly wait each week for the long-awaited knock on the door. The knock that heralds that this week as well, the refrigerator will be stocked up, the oven will be baking and things in the house will all go smoothly and well.
Each week, the “Notnim BeAhavah” angels travel around andvisit the homes of hundreds of families. In private cars, not motorized and with unbranded carton boxes, they give the families a basket of food supplies for the entire week. So that no child feels differently. So that everyone has a Sabbath table filled with goods.
Each food basket for the Sabbath includes, among other things, poultry, fish, beef, fruit, vegetables, legumes, canned goods, grocery products and challah bread.
